I've got a secret.......

I did something this morning that I thought I'd never do. And I did it in public! The roofers working on the house next door saw me the whole time as they peered through the shrubs. I'm somewhat shocked at myself. My mother would be upset to see her daughter do such a thing, especially where neighbors could see. My father would wonder that he didn't raise me better. My husband may see the evidence of my actions when he returns home this afternoon; he'll be reminded of the girls from his rural hometown. You know the ones -- they start at a young age, at first unwillingly, but eventually they're doing it almost every day without a complaint.

What did I do?

I hung my laundry out to dry on the line. Why? What were you thinking?

I've been trying hard to cut corners and save money here and there and all the blogs I read keep suggesting to line dry clothes and linens as much as possible to save on the energy costs to run the dryer. So, I decided to try it. Luckily, the weather is absolutely perfect this morning and it was a very pleasant task! I figure that even if I only hang half the loads for half the year, that could add up to a noticible drop in my PECO bill.

And it made me feel like such a radical! That is, if hearkening back to a prior age can make one a radical!?!?!?

What are you doing to save a few pennies or dollars today?

I've been line drying our laundry ever since we moved here. In fact, I had to stop for a while because a contractor knocked over our laundry pole and there's been a difference in our peco bill.

The only thing I don't line dry is underwear. :-)

I cannot hang laundry out, even if I wanted to. Allergies prevent me from doing it.

However, we do have super-duper efficient machines and I do try to hang a few things in the limited space in the basement.

In order to save money, I've stocked up on cloth diapers (prefolds and non folded) and those $5 a stack washcloths from Tarzhay. I use them instead of paper towels. Instead of buying a HUGE pack of papertowels this week, I don't even buy them once a month anymore! The diapers work great on windows, soaking up spills, dusting, you name it.

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I make money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I managed to catch a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Visit my blog to get additional info.

LOVE Laundry Lines. Been dreaming of having one my whole married life. Just poured the base last week. Can't wait. Plus, I loath to run the dryer on hot days.

I pick up every penny I find. I once read about a man who cleaned out the Vaccums at Car Washes for a part time job and he was able to take his family to Disneyland (every year for 15 year) on the coins found in the machines. Makes you Wonder.
